The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives

Well, we're going again next year which probably says it all... Great reception since landing - thank you Eva :) We never had to worry about anything. Everyone on the island made us feel like family. Whole staff was very sympathetic and easy to talk to. One waiter especially, Jarda, that served us most often, got to know us so well that during last breakfast, beverages we wanted were already waiting on the table when we got there. He even spoke a bit of Polish to us. We miss this place already.

The island is stunning!!! Arrival by sea plane and speed boat is a great start to the holiday with staff waiting on the jetty to greet our arrival. We were upgraded room for the first 2 days which was a nice touch. Shakhawat is possibly the best member of staff we have ever met on our travels. Worked in the restaurant, but basically assisted with every request we had on our holiday, including being in contact on WhatsApp whenever we needed.

Huruvalhi was literal paradise on Earth, I have never had the pleasure of staying somewhere as incredible before. The food, the staff, the stunning overwater villas, I really really hope to be back.
