The Palms Zanzibar

I was so torn about which hotel/resort to select for my 4-nights stay in Zanzibar, there we so many to choose from. Traveling solo, I took a chance on The Palms. I have never been more pleased. It's an intimate seating and the villas feel like "home". A luxury experience, with the traditional African decor and feel. The villas are huge. I visited at the start of the rainy season and the resort was only 35% occupied. But I loved the personalized attention, and the kindness of the staff is unlike anything I've ever experience. The food was as good (or better) than any restaurant there. I could go on and on, but I'll summarize by saying... whether a couple or single, you will NOT be disappointed if you chose to stay at The Palms.

Staff always friendly and available. Service impeccable. Meals delicious. Only seven bungalows, which meant only seven other couples and no children. Perfect.
